Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do to keep it safe.

Pending legal review. This policy accurately describes how the platform handles data today, but it has not yet been reviewed by a legal adviser. It must be checked against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act and any sector rules before this site goes live.

This policy explains how AquaMoney RO handles personal information collected through this website, the partner app and in the course of selling and servicing water purifiers.

What we collect

  • Contact details — name, mobile number, email address and installation address, so we can quote, deliver, install and service a unit.
  • Order and service records — what you bought, its serial number, and every service visit made to it.
  • Identity documents (partners only) — PAN and government ID, collected because payouts cannot legally be made without verification.
  • Bank details (partners only) — held so commission can be paid to you.
  • Security records — sign-in times, device and IP address, kept so we can detect and investigate unauthorised access to your account.

How it is protected

  • Identity documents and bank details are encrypted at rest. They are not stored in a form that can be read directly from the database.
  • Passwords are stored as Argon2id hashes, never as text and never in a form that can be reversed.
  • Staff access is permission-controlled and audited. Viewing an unmasked PAN is itself a recorded event, attributable to a named member of staff.
  • In listings and everyday screens, sensitive values are masked by default.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. It is shared only where it is necessary to do what you asked us to do: with the technician assigned to your visit, with banks and payment providers to move money, and with authorities where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Order, invoice and payout records are kept for the period tax and company law requires. Service history is kept for the working life of the unit, because a technician attending a fault needs to know what was done before. Security logs are kept for a limited period and then removed.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete information we are not legally required to keep. We cannot delete records that tax or financial law obliges us to retain, and we will tell you plainly when that is the case.
